What a surprise?
So I was passing by a newsstand yesterday and I saw this magazine cover:

I like this new layout I chose for my blog…
Simple.
Clean.
Easy on the eyes.
Sleek.
Sexy.
Kinda like its owner, don’t ya think? ;)
It’s really still the same Xbox 360 I’ve had since launch, but this will be the third time it’s gone out…
I really have no problems with it breaking down since I do use it quite a bit, and over the last year it’s been at Pierre’s… yes, that box has probably clocked more hours than I have at work! We use it as a DVD player, Media Center Extender, etc., so it is put into really good use whenever we do turn it on. The video card on it crapped out maybe in March, so we had it repaired, but last night, as we were playing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, it broke down once more. Since Pierre couldn’t wait to get it fixed, he ended up buying a whole new Xbox 360 Arcade console, so that I can just take my Xbox 360 back home with me.
I’m gonna get it repaired soon so we can do some serious online gaming!
Hmm… it seems that Apple just issued this recall for all ultracompact USB adapters that came with the iPhone 3G. Apparently, in some cases, the metal prongs can break off and remain lodged in the socket.
You can either fill in the web form to get it shipped after October 10th or go to an Apple Retail Store to exchange it there. I guess I’ll be in Yorkdale next month to get it exchanged! ;)
In the last few months, I’ve realized that I haven’t really had much of an option to enjoy just one full day off doing nothing at all and just staying at home. Sure, I’ve relaxed by going to the beach with friends from time to time, but that still involves driving and much preparation. Running errands by myself or with my mom have taken up all those free times I should’ve spent alone. I guess my life has just become more busy that I can’t even find time to just be alone and unwind anymore.
With work switching to full-time mode starting next week, I’m really going to have to be strict with time management in order for me to get some time alone at least for one of my two days off. And it’s not like I have the regular Saturday and Sunday (weekends) off like most people I know, since I work in the retail industry…I pretty much have to make do on whatever two days off they give me. I did update my availability so that I’m off at least on Saturdays and one weekday. At least that gives me time to enjoy half a weekend!
I think that time is starting to become important in my life. I know I’m going to start to feel the pressure of managing my time wisely once I start working 40 hours a week. I guess we’ll seehow next week goes. I’m pretty sure I should be able to do it. I’m just really scared of crashing and burning a couple months down the road…
