A spontaneous change
A couple of weeks ago, I was fixing Sheryl’s network at 8am. After that was done, she took me out for breakfast. We ended up at Markham Station, with much caution, since Sheryl’s last time there wasn’t too good at all. (For details, ask her!) After we ate, and she ogled over our très cute waiter (she was really close to playing “Touch My Body” by Mariah Carey when he asked her what else she wanted), I felt like getting a haircut because my hair was getting long and harder to manage. She ended up going with me and finally getting her highlights.
While I was waiting and watching her go through the process, I kept on thinking that maybe I should do something new with my hair since I’ve had mostly the same hairstyle in the last three years. I’ve cycled through the fauxhawk, messy spikes, front spikes, and the occasional buzz cut (some pictured below):
After playing around with my hair for a bit (while sitting on the chair beside Sheryl), I made a spontaneous decision (with her coersion, of course!). There was still a little bit of the dye left from her highlights, so it was applied on my hair. The result?
It’s totally different… and if you know me well, this is one of the styles you’d never pictured me to get. It’s been getting a lot of compliments though, so I thank the people who’s liked it so far. And of course, my hairstylist who made it happen!
What do you think of the new hairstyle?
