Steve: Before and after

June 30, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Well, not really…

I’ve known Steve for about 5 years now (through Sean) and since Sean always jokes around how knowing me made Steve more gay (in both personality and wardrobe), I’d love to take this time and show you how serious this whole situation is.

You see, I knew Steve had the potential the very first night I met him at Sean’s birthday party years ago when he was wearing a baggy sweater and jeans, while he had little or no product in his hair. Since then, Steve’s absorbed every fashion tidbit that I sent his way like a sponge… and what better time to give him a Ryan makeover (more like I actually dressed him in my own clothes) than during Pride Weekend. Dare I say that he totally rocks the vest and tie?

He’s been gay-ified by moi… and yes, we were two hot tranny messes with the pink boas on during Pride! ;)

A lil’ housekeeping

June 25, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I always neglect this blog of mine from time to time. I will admit that I will do a posting blitz for a few days, disappear for a few months, and come back again for a bit. I feel like it’s just a vicious cycle with me and writing on here. I was at a point where I had decided to completely close this blog and just stick with Twitter. I realized then that there are just some things that cannot be said with just 140 characters.

What would be some things you’d like me to be talking about in this blog? Any of your suggestions would be fine!

I am also tweaking this blog a bit — and it’s going to take me the next couple of days to do so. The first change you’ll notice is that there is a new layout. I’m also overhauling my categories and tags, and that’s going to take me a couple of days to do. I got the cosmetic part done already so that the only thing that’s left would be the inner workings of the blog. I hope that you’ll like the streamlining I’m doing with everything.

You’ll most definitely hear back from me again. It’s been a while, and I feel like there are a lot of things you need to be caught up on… :)

Until then!

Rainy days and Mondays…

April 21, 2009 · 1 Comment

…always get me down. And it happens that it was both of those things today! Whew… what a rainy Monday it was, but that didn’t stop me (or other people) from doing fun things. :D

I was really doing more errands on this rainy day, but Allie and myself ended up at The Eaton Centre while waiting to meet up with Jess for sushi. What ruckus did we cause in the mall? Well, we walked around for a bit and checked out some stuff… nothing really came to mind much except for a few pieces here and there. Somehow, we ended up in TNA and inside their photo booth (picture to follow)… and hilarity ensued! I’ve also been meaning to get a new case for my iPhone, and so I did… that was after we played around with Photo Booth in an iMac.

It was nice and fun to catch up with two of my fave girls once again… and I believe we will be doing this types of things more often.

2008: The best of

April 15, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I am just on a roll, aren’t I? :)

Anyway, this is how I thought the last year (2008) passed by… with lots of fun and dancing!

I created this slideshow on the first week of the year, but I wasn’t able to post it up properly until now. I hope you enjoy it.

The me in how I write

April 15, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I was bored one night a couple of months ago when I didn’t have a computer, so I wanted to try and see how I would fare in graphology. I wrote a few sentences on a blank piece of paper, sent it off to get analyzed. I totally know that this is a pseudoscience, but hey, I had nothing better to do, so I thought it would be fun.

Anyway, the results came back, and I was quite amused at how most of the things in the analysis were spot on:

You are selective when picking friends. You tend not to trust everyone. You have a select group of people that are truly close to you, usually no more than five or six. You are very careful when choosing your inner circle of friends.

You can be quite sarcastic. This is a defense mechanism designed to protect your ego when you feel hurt. You poke people harder than you get poked. These sarcastic remarks can be very funny. They can also be harsh, bitter, and caustic at the same time.

You are a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth.  This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. You need to visualize the end of a project before starting it.  You find joy in anticipation and planning.  Notice that I said that you plan everything you are going to do — that doesn’t necessarily mean things go as planned.  You basically feel good about yourself.  You have a positive self-esteem which contributes to success.  You feel that you have the ability to achieve anything you set your mind to.  However, you tend to set goals using practicality — not too “out of reach”.  You have enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, you will not take great risks.  A good esteem is one key to a happy life.  Although there is room for improvement in the confidence catagery, your self-perception is better than average.

In reference to mental abilities, you have a very investigating and creating mind. You investigate projects rapidly because you are curious about many things. You get involved in many projects that seem good at the beginning, but soon must slow down and look at all the angles. You probably get too many things going at once… but when you slow down, then you become more creative than before. You then decide what projects you have the time to finish. Thus, you finish at a slower pace than when you started the project. You have the best of two kinds of minds. One is the quick investigating mind; the other is the creative mind. Your mind thinks quick and rapidly in the investigative mode. You can learn quicker, investigate more, and think faster. You can then switch into low gear. When in the slower mode, you can be creative, remember longer, and stack facts in a logical manner. You are more logical this way and can climb mental mountains with a much better grip.

You are very secretive. You have secrets about you and others close to you which you does not wish to share. You have a private side that you intend to keep that way, especially concerning certain events in the past.

You are moderately outgoing. Your emotions are stirred by sympathy and heart rendering stories. In fact, you can be kind, friendly, affectionate and considerate of others. You have the ability to put yourself into the other person’s shoes. You can be somewhat moody, with highs and lows. Sometimes happy; the next day, sad. You have the unique ability to get along equally well with introverts and extroverts. This is because you lie somewhere in between: an ambivert. You understand the needs of both types. You will not tolerate anyone that is too “far out.” You don’t sway too far one way or the other. When convincing you to buy a product or an idea, a heart rendering story could mean a great deal. You put yourself in the same situation as the person in the story, yet you will not buy anything that seems overly impractical or illogical. You are a very expressive person. You outwardly show emotion. You may even show traces of tears when hearing a sad story! A “middle-of-the-roader,” politically as well as logically. You weigh both sides of an issue, sit on the fence, and then will decide when finally has to. You basically don’t relate to any far out ideas and usually won’t go to the extreme on any issue.

People that write their letters in an average height and average size are moderate in their ability to interact socially.  According to the data input, you don’t write too large or too small, indicating a balanced ability to be social and interact with others.

If you know me personally, what do you think of the results?
